DarkFest 2025 Has Landed – And It’s Absolutely Insane

DarkFest 2025 is on! Bringing the world's best freeride mountain bikers together for another week of massive sends, this freeride mountain biking event is scheduled from April 7 to April 12, 2025, at the Vuurberg venue near Stellenbosch, South Africa. This year, the event introduces a new mega quarter pipe, were we will see riders ad an extra of creativity to clean the line.

What’s New in 2025?

This year, the DarkFest crew has pushed things even further. A brand-new mega quarter pipe that's already shaking up the riders. Designed to test limits and launch riders into the moon, it’s the biggest the event has ever seen. Paired with the classic DarkFest flow and monstrous jumps, the course is set up for some of the most mind-blowing moments in freeride history.

Can’t make it for the full week? There’s a public day on Saturday, April 12, and a limited number of tickets are available. This is your chance to see the madness in person, meet the riders, and feel the raw energy of one of freeride’s most radical events.

The course includes a colossal 110-foot (33.5 meters) jump, challenging riders to achieve remarkable airtime and speed. At DarkFest 2025, riders reach speeds of up to 50 mph (approximately 80km/h) to clear the jumps
