Asa Vermette Shreds on his Enduro Bike

​Asa Vermette is an 18-year-old downhill mountain biking sensation from Durango, Colorado, rapidly making his mark on the international stage. Riding for Frameworks Racing / 5DEV, he has achieved significant milestones in his early career.​

2024 Junior World Champion: At the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Andorra, Vermette clinched the Junior Men's Downhill title with a time of 2:39.185, finishing 1.5 seconds ahead of his closest competitor. His time was the fourth fastest overall, including Elite riders.

In 2024, he secured victories in three Junior Men's World Cup races, including a commanding six-second win at Fort William, Scotland. Despite being a junior, Vermette won the Men's Elite Downhill National Championship at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina, posting the fastest time overall.
