Forbidden Bikes Introduces eDruid and eDreadnought

The canadian brand based on Vancouver Island, Forbidden Bikes will step into the eBike world with an exciting announcement for Sea Otter: electrified versions of their popular Druid and Dreadnought models. With a similar high pivot look and suspension technology, the eDruid and eDreadnought are set to make history in the mtb scenery being the first popular bike company adopting this new DJI system.

Both the eDruid and eDreadnought will feature the latest DJI Avinox eBike motor, a powerhouse that delivers incredible torque and efficiency. 100Nm in Normal Mode for a balance of power and efficiency for longer rides and 120Nm for the hardest climbs.

Forbidden has paired the motor with their own proprietary 600Wh battery, designed for optimal weight distribution and maximum range. This combination promises impressive performance while maintaining the brand's commitment to precise handling and balance.

Less kits will be available and we will see disappear the "S Kit" in favour of a version with the focus set on suspension and leaving the AXS T Type transmission for the new cable actuated T-Type.

Yes, you are reading right. There is a cable actuated version of the T-Type set to be announce during Sea Otter 2025.
