FAZUA Introduces KickOverrun in Free Ride 60 Firmware Update

This flagship feature extends motor support briefly after you ease off the pedals—triggered by a sharp pedal motion. This design is aimed at helping you maintain momentum over challenging trail features like rocky steps or tight ledges, without the need for extra crank rotations.

Also, the torque sensor now calibrates automatically whenever the system powers on, delivering smoother and more precise pedal assist and new internal thermal sensors adjust motor output across varying temperatures—so your ride feel stays consistent, whether in cool or scorching conditions.

The idle timeout has been increased from 5 to 10 minutes, preventing inconvenient power-downs during short pauses and preserving connectivity with companion apps.

Motor engagement is now more responsive and natural, with refined start/stop behavior and quicker reaction to pedaling input—eliminating the abrupt cut-offs and drivetrain noises that some earlier Ride 60 systems displayed and additional thermal management, support-level locking in the face of vibrations, and various reliability tweaks round out the update.
